Philosophy of the Barry Hahn Primary Media Center

The media center supports and enhances the learning experience of students and faculty at Barry Hahn Primary.  The media center provides a variety of materials to students in order to encourage a lifelong love and appreciation of reading and learning.  The Media Center strives to be an integral part of the instructional process.  The Media Center selects both print and non-print resources that develop and enhance the curriculum.  The Media Center also promotes the use of technology in achieving instructional goals. 

The Media Center exists to enhance the education at Barry Hahn Primary directly and indirectly.  By directly instructing students in the use of information, and by indirectly acquiring instructional materials for the staff, we will help achieve our school's mission:  for all students to reach a high level of academic performance as they prepare to become productive members of society.
