🎀🎀🎀Red Ribbon Week is coming up at the end of October! Here are our theme days if you want to plan ahead! 🎀🎀🎀

September is almost over, which also means fall break is right around the corner. Due to students not having school on Friday, please notice that the Friday classes will be exchanging books on Wednesday or Thursday instead. I have made those changes in the schedule I'm sharing .
Also, if you are staying around here over fall break, MCPL has a variety of programs that week , as well as the Story Walk and outdoor instruments, which can be utilized whether the library is open or not.

Our Character Trait focus of the month was Respect. Congratulations to these BHP Bears for being recognized for showing Respect !

Congratulations to our Practice Makes Progress award winners! We are so proud of all of our students for their hard work and perseverance!

🎉Den Day Assembly🎉 Today we celebrated perfect attendance for the first 8 weeks of school! We kicked off our raffle ticket sales for our Fall Festival on October 24th. We also celebrated Bears Awards with a Hungry Hippo game! Have a wonderful weekend BHP families!

Happy Fall, ya'll! This is a computer lab week, so only K and 1st exchange books. If you aren't taking advantage of our fantastic public library; you are missing out! I'm including a few activities going on this week. Visit their website or FB page for more info.

Thanks so much to all the volunteers who worked the book fair last week. I hope you've had a chance to relax and recuperate! Since the library is open for regular business again, all classes will have library and exchange books this week.

Order forms were sent home this week. Here is some additional information for parents. What to expect on picture day: When an order is placed online, the parent/guardian will receive a camera pass via email. This can either be printed or texted to the student and brought to picture day. The photographer will photograph the printed camera pass along with the student. If a student is not able to print their camera pass, that is not a problem. We will match up the student to their order manually in the production process. A parent may order from the flyer up until 24 hours after picture day. After 24 hours, the online ordering access may close. This will allow our imaging team to "Pull" all orders submitted and match them with the students photographed. When pictures are returned to school, all students that purchased pictures will receive their prepaid package. Any student that was photographed but did not order a package, will receive a "Proof" (PX) of their picture that was taken on picture day. All proof packages offer parents a second opportunity to order prints. All orders are subject to shipping and handling costs of up to $8.50 and will be shipped directly to home. All BHP families are invited to attend our final Grandparents/Family Night from 4:00-6:00. We will also have a training for our discipline program, 123 Magic, starting at 4:30 for any families want to learn more about how we use it at school and how you can use it at home!

Monday and Thursday we will have our Grandparents & Family Nights from 4:00-6:00! We will also have two food trucks joining on campus for family fun!

The Book Fair will be going on in the library this week, so I will see classes in the computer lab. Only Kindergarten and 1st grade students exchange books on lab days.
