Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week is just around the corner, May 5-9th! BHP PTO are asking students to join in and thank teachers and staff each day too!

Yesterday we had a memorable time celebrating our military child students with the Purple Up! event. Abound Credit Union presented a check to Meade Co. Schools. We had purple treats, beads and balloons that were gratefully enjoyed with the help of our Ft. Knox Family liaison, guest speaker Colonel Lewis, Mr. Butler(BOE), and our PTO!

We are so thankful for Mrs. Mindy, Mrs. Sami and Mrs. Pam! They make BHP safer, happier and overall better!

🟣We are excited to announce that we will be celebrating Month of the Military Child at BHP! 🟣

Parents & Guardians: Barry Hahn Primary School will be electronically holding Site-Based Decision Making Council (SBDM) & Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) elections this year. If you would like to nominate yourself for the 2025-2026 BHP SBDM or PTO, please complete this Google form by Friday, April 18, 2025. https://forms.gle/wdEL95Yza1BZDGWr5 SBDM Eligibility requirements are that a parent member shall be a parent or legal guardian and “must have a child pre-registered to attend Barry Hahn Primary School for the next school year.” A parent council member cannot be employed at Barry Hahn Primary or in the district administrative offices. Parent members cannot be a member of the Board of Education, the spouse of a Board member, nor can they have a business interest in the school. A council member may be an employee of another school or a relative of an employee in another school. Voting will take place electronically (through a Google Form) on Tuesday, 4/22/25, between 8:00 am - 3:00 pm.

Remember: Kindergarten Registation for 2025-26 school year is now open. It is a good time to begin making appointments and gathering documentation as well for this process.
