Barry Hahn Primary School

Parents & Guardians, We are excited to begin a new program at Barry Hahn Primary. The BHP Student Leadership program will offer opportunities for students to fill leadership roles throughout our school. The goal is to build leadership capacity in our students and increase the overall positive culture. We will first begin with the 2nd & 3rd Grade students and then our younger students will follow later this school year. On Friday an application will be sent home and students may apply for leadership positions available. Students will be selected to fill these roles within a couple weeks. Please have the applications returned to school by Sept. 4th. We can't wait to see our BEARS in action!

To simplify this process, all forms are now paperless and completed through the Infinite Campus Parent Portal. This allows households to complete paperwork once for their entire household, eliminating redundant steps for families with multiple students.

Team BHP appreciates our partnership with local law enforcement. Routinely we collaborate to discuss school safety and visit classrooms!

On Greenwave Spirit days BHP students may wear a Meade County or Green shirt to show their school spirit with uniform bottoms.

- - BHP School Hours - - The first day of school is tomorrow Wednesday, August 7th! We will start our car rider line about 5 minutes early the first few days to help with traffic flow.
