Since this the time for love--I love sharing great books with my students! We have begun reading the Kentucky Bluegrass Nominees for K-2 (our 3rd graders too). After students have heard the books on the list, they'll each get to vote for their favorite one. I'll tally our school's votes, submit them, and they'll be counted along with all the other school's votes and we will find out the winner in April. I've included the books on here. The students get really excited to see if their favorite is chosen the winner!

We had a great Family Fitness night with many guests and activities. Thanks to everyone who came out and helped to make it another memorable night. 🏃♀️ 💪 🤩 MCHS Athletes: Cheerleaders, Girls Soccer, Boys Basketball, Volleyball, Softball, & Track and Field. Also, Meade Co High School NHS members for their continued help. Mrs. Meredith Reyna , for leading a yoga and fitness session. Coach Haycraft and girls soccer for leading a soccer skills session. Whew! Let's do again next week.

Meade County Schools will operate on a two-hour delay on Wednesday, February 4, due to additional snowfall across our county, especially in the North End, impacting road conditions.
𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗱𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗮𝘆:
- School Start Time: All school operations will begin two hours later than normal
- Bus Routes: All buses will run on a two-hour delay
- Car Riders: Drop-off locations will open on a two-hour delay
- AM Preschool is canceled; PM Preschool reports at the normal time
This adjustment provides additional time for conditions to improve and supports safer travel for our students and staff.
